Fernando Cracked The Case

In order for us to solve the case we had to see what powder was switched with the sugar. We did a ph test and we figured out it was baking soda. We figured out that it wasn’t Rudy’s fault that she grabbed what she thought was sugar. Today we did a a chromotagraphy test and we figured out which pen was used to write the fake label to cover the baking soda label. We figured out that it was chef benny boranko by the finger prints that were optained.

Cracked the Case

It was a long day. In the class of the forensic science i did many things like test out the markers to see which one was used to lable the sugar. We use the technique called chromatography to test out the marker and the ink by putting the markers on coffee filter paper and dipping it in water to see what happens to the ink while it soaked by water. Then we use alcholo for marker 3 because it didn’t mix very well with water. Then we matched the ink on the lable of the sugar to mislable the baking soda. Then marker 3 matched the lable that mislabled the sugar. Then we found a fingerprint on marker 3. We got the fingeprints of the the people backstage and it was chef baranko’s print.

What Shaneeza & Samantha dun did…..

today we did paper chromatography to find out which pen was used to write the false note and we also analyzed fingerprints on the adobe photoshop to find out who wrote with the pen. It was really interesting. We concluded that Benny Baranko sabotaged Chef Acevedo’s ingredients. He probly was jealous that Acevedo won three years in a row but that’s no excuse. Now he must pay for his wrong-doings and Rudy is proved innocent.

Hello Jozina Here, today was cool we did someting very similar from when we first came here. Chromatography! We used this skill to solve the case of Sweet Sabotage. Well here is hungry Nicole.
HI tODAY WAS pretty fun we learned some cool stuff about Chromtography,molecules, and so on. Still hungry though I feel for some corn, mashed potatoes gravy, and macroni. Had some of that today. bye.

We learned many things from this chemistry investigation. We used chromotagraphy to find out which marker was used to change the sign of the sugar to baking soda. We found out from that the third pen was used to write the sign. We found fingerprints on pen three and we edited that fingerprint in adobe photoshop. Later on we compared that fingerprint to all the people who were backstage around the ingredients. From those fingerprints Chef Baranko’s matced the fingerprint on the pen three. So we found out that it was Chef Baranko.

What Crystal & Tyisha learned today

Today we finally solved the case. It was chef Benny Baranko. He had his finger print on pen 3. once we knew how to compare the fingerprints we found his prints. Next we used chromatograhy to find out how to get the pigment molecules that the ink of the pen leaves behind. Once we did all of this we wrote a letter to Lisa Foreman and told her about our findings. WE FINALLY DID IT !!!!!!!!!!!…….!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How I found out that chef Benny did it was that Ben didn’t like chef loegi.So Ben was the main subspect.
