Black Bear Bonanza

We all found out that the people in charge of the organic chicken factory was their fault for distroying the black bears ecosystem!!

Today was last weeks’ continuation. We started out where we left off. Once we figuered out that the Bronx vandil was in fact a black bear, we just had to find out why this bear was even in the city, especially since this bear was a wild one. We realized; based on the information in Google Earth, that this bear’s original habitat was in fact Bearforest Mt. With this information and the use of before and after pictures of the lake we discovered that the reasoning for the bears’ moving is because he wanted a new habitat away from the polluted water. Next we had to figure out who in fact was causing this polution to occur. We found out that the Organic Chicken Nugget Factory was the cause of it all based on process of elimination.

Nothing to say. Can we go to the playground now? My partner and I are also hungry. What are we having for lunch? We learned that people who make organic chicken nuggets are clueless on ecosystem. So…Hungry…Can’t write any…More…~James & Jefferson.

We learned about GIS… That stands for Geographical Informational System. This represents the actual information on a map. The problem is that there are too many food vendors around the bus stops. So when the people are waiting for the bus and they get hungry they go and get some food. When thet are done eating, that drop the rapper on the floor. So our seggestion was to have more garbage cans around and the bus stop should be farther away so that the people would throw the food away before they go on the bus and litter… Also, we determined how to figure out what kind of animal was in the vandalisms. We discovered that it was indeed a bear.

What kevin did today

First we learned what GIS, which is geographical information system. I learned how to set a food web of animals that eat each other. It was hard to arrange them in the right order they eat which animal. Then we trying to find a case of a footrint that terrized houses. I think a bear did it, but were going to find out the next time we come.

what Shaneeza & Lourdes learned today…

today we were using the GIS system to find out the houses that were being vandelized…. we used the GIS to locate different places,…..we found out that the thing thatdid them was actually a bear instead of a human…..we are now investigating to see which animal is missing from the zoo…this system was very useful and we are still trying to figure out which animal actually did this?
